Cabinet has today (15) approved a Proposal to recruit 982 SAITM (Malabe Private Medical Collage) students to the Medical Faculty of Sir John Kotalawala Defense University after evaluating their qualifications. The Cabinet Proposal was jointly submitted to the Cabinet by the President Maithripala Sirisena and Minister Of Higher Education Wijedasa Rajapakshe.
The Kothalawala Defense University Act too will be amended to pave the way to admit the SAITM Students it has been announced.
