Airport Customs have today (11) arrested a 55 year old male and a 30 year old female while attempting to smuggle foreign Currency notes worth around US Dollars 72,000 (More than Rs.10 million) to Singapore at the Katunayake ,Bandaranaike International Airport .The two suspects have arrived at the Airport to board a Sri Lankan Flight flying to Singapore it has been revealed.
Airport Customs have launched an investigation over the incident.
