A six month old infant girl was killed
and two others including her mother were injured and hospitalized due to a Cab-Motorcycle-Three Wheeler collision occurred at Marakkalawatte ,Beruwala area in Galle-Colombo main road today(12).
The critically injured girl and her mother travelling in the Motorcycle were admitted to the Beruwala Hospital for treatment and later the little girl was transferred to the Nagoda Hospital in Kalutara for further treatment where she had succumbed to her injuries.
A person travelled in the Three wheeler which was collided with a Cab too injured due to the collision and admitted to Nagoda Hospital for treatment.The deceased girl was a resident of Beruwela according to the Police.
The accident occurred when the Motorcycle and a Three Wheeler arrived in from a same direction collided with the Cab arrived in from the opposite direction it has been revealed.
Police have arrested the Cab driver regarding the incident.
