A Person had received burn injuries and hospitalized after the Jeep he was driven suddenly caught fire near the Kottawa entry of the Southern Expressway this morning (31).The injured driver was hospitalized from another Vehicle ran in the Expressway at that time.
The fire erupted in the Jeep was doused by the fire brigade arrived at the scene after some time ,However the Jeep which traveled from Kottawa to Kadawatha was completely destroyed due to the fire it has been reported.
The cause of the fire not yet been determined.
