SLFP Divided Over The No Confidence Motion

Co -partner of the Good Governance Government Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) has divided in to two factions regarding the voting of No confidence motion presented in the Parliament today against Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe it has been reported.

While Minister A.H.M Fowzie of SLFP had this morning stated that the SLFP has decided to abstain from voting on the no confidence motion State Minister Lakshman Yapa Abeygunawardane has stated that the SLFP MP's met at the residence of United Peoples Freedom Alliance General Secretary Mahinda Amaraweera have decided to vote in favor of the motion.

Meanwhile former President Mahinda Rajapakshe who is the leader of Joint Opposition Group had arrived in Parliament to take part in the ongoing no confidence motion debate .
