INTERPOL Issued Red Warrant To Arrest Former Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran

The International Police(INTERPOL) had today (20) issued Red Warrant to arrest the chief suspect of the Central Bank Bond scam ,The former governor of the Central Bank Arjuna Mahendren .

Although Court orders were issued twice to him to appear before the court over the charges leveled against him ,The former Central Bank governor had not appear before the court accordingly.In an earlier occasion too court has ordered the authorities to issue Red Warrant to arrest him however due to lack of details provided in this regard to the INTERPOL ,the warrant was  not issued as required.

Red warrant was issued to arrest Arjun Mahendren in view of producing him before the court regarding the bond scam inquiry conducted by the Criminal Investigations Department(CID).
