Two Persons Were Arrested Over Attempting To Collect A Parcel Contains Cocaine At Central Mail Exchange

Customs Officers have today (22) arrested two persons arrived in Central Mail Exchange in Colombo  to collect a Parcel contains more than  20 grammes of Cocaine received from Netherlands.

The two suspects who are residents of Wattala area were arrested while attempting to take the Parcel by bribing a worker in Mail Exchange it has been revealed.

The Central Mail Exchange had received the parcel  in January this year  and as no one arrived in t o collect the parcel the Customs had taken the Parcel in to custody as it is labelled as a suspicious parcel. .
