Two Persons Have Been Arrested With A Stock Of Cigarette Cartons And Liquor Bottles Ilegally Brought To Sri Lanka

Airport Customs officers have arrested two Sri Lankan males arrived in from Dubai with 249 illegal Cigarette Cartons with 49,800 Cigarette sticks and 07 Foreign Liquor Bottles in their possession at the Katunayake ,Bandaranaike International Airport this morning(28).


The suspects are residents of Makola and Grandpass areas and of the ages 20 and 41 years old respectively.

The estimated value of the stock of Cigarette sticks and Liquor Bottles taken in to custody in possession of the suspects is around Rs.2.5 million it has been revealed.
