Fifty One Farmers Who Were Arrested Over Protesting And Pelting Stones At Police In Thambuttegama Were Released On Bail

Fifty One Farmers in Thambuttegama area who were arrested and remanded  over violently acting  during a protest held against a Drinking Water Bottle Manufacturing Project based on Rajanganya Wewa (River) and pelting stones at Thambutthegama Police were  released on bail by the Thambuttegama Magistrate Court today(05).

The group of persons were arrested on 28th of February and remanded until today(05) after being produced before the Court.
