The two chief suspects of the controversial Central
Bank bond scam Arjun Aloysius and Kasun Palisena of Perpetual Treasuries who were remanded had been transferred to the Prison Hospital from Magazine prison under the medical recommendation after they have complained on breathing difficulties and back problem according to sources.
Arjun Aloysius who is the owner of Perpetual Treasuries had complained on breathing difficulty due to the dust and cold enviornment in the prison cell and other suspect the chief executive officer of the Perpetual Treasuries Kasun Palisena had complained on a breathing difficulty and a back problem.They were slept in the floor of the E ward of the Magazine prison it has been revealed.
A medical consultant attached to the Colombo National Hospital due to inspect their condition on next wednesday and future action on the two bond scam suspects due to be taken according to the doctor's recommendation authorities said.
