A University Student attached to the Vavuniya section of the Jaffna University was injured and hospitalized due to a brawl incident occurred between two student groups at a Students Hostel last night(25).A Second year student of the Jaffna University was injured and hospitalized due to the incident and the Vavuniya Police have identified the group of first year students responsible for the attack it has been revealed.
The Police Officers attached to the Vavuniya Police had recorded a statement of the injured student and are conducting an investigation over the incident.
