United States Of America has today(29) announced that the GSP Plus tariff concession Programme granted to many countries including Sri Lanka especially on Apparel products will be ended on 31st of December 2017 .Accordingly all the Goods exported to United States Of America from 01st of January will be subjected to tariffs the United States Embassy has announced today(29).
The GSP Plus tariff concession programme will be ended as the American Congress not approved the extension of the Programme the Embassy has stated.
Sri Lanka has exported majority of it's products to United States Of America.
