A fisherman was killed due to a s trucked by lightning while fishing in the mid sea area just a nautical mile away from Devinuwara Beach it has been reported.However the fellow fisherman in the Boat where the deceased Fisherman was in at the time of the accident had escape unharmed but had suffered with a minor shock according to sources.
The deceased Fisherman was identified as a 66 year old resident of Hummana Road,Devinuwara.
