A 36 year old person has been critically injured and hospitalized due to a Gun Shooting incident at Kumarakanda area in Hikkaduwa (Southern Province) this noon(05).The injured person had been admitted to the Arachchikande Hospital with injuries and taker transferred to the Intensive Care Unit of the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital for treatment.
Two Unidentified persons arrived in a Motorcycle had shot at the person who came to Kumarakande area from Anuradhapura to a requirement of his.The reason behind the Gun shooting has not yet been revealed.
Police are currently investigating to arrest the two suspects who were responsible for the Gun shooting.
