Twelve Bus Passengers including two pregnant females have been injured and hospitalized due to a Sri Lanka Transport Board(SLTB)-Private Bus collision occurred at bulagala,Dambulle area last night(24).The injured were admitted to the Dambulle Base Hospital for treatment.
The accident was occurred after a Sri Lanka Transport Board Bus traveling from Anuradhapura to Matale had collided with a Private Bus traveling from Anuradhapura to Kandy arrived in from opposite direction .
Most of the injured passengers were traveling in the Private Bus due to the breaks of the Bus not functioned as a result of the rain prevailed in at the time of the accident caused this according to the driver of the Private Bus.
