A person has died after drowning in Minneriya Wewa in Polonnaruwa last afternoon(06) while bathing with his friends .
The deceased had been identified as a 50 year old Municipal Council Worker resided in Kadawatha area.Two friends of the deceased who were drowned at the same time had been rescued and the body of the deceased was recovered by fishermen it has been revealed.
