A scientific research needs to be done to find out
whether the extract taken from Papaya leaf suitable to treat Dengue according to the Health Minister Dr.Rajitha Senaratne.
"Some Indigenous Doctors here have stated that the extract taken from Papaya leaf good for treating Dengue.However the western Dengue specialist doctors not accepted the treatment.India as well as Australia made drugs through Papaya leaf extract .Therefore there's a need to done research on this to prove the effectiveness of Papaya leaf extract to treat Dengue "Health Minister has stressed during a function of State Ayurveda Drug Corporation held at the Health Ministry auditorium this evening (20).
