Three Police Officers were injured and hospitalized after a Sri Lanka Transport Board Bus(SLTB)colliding with a Police Cab parked on Mulgampola road in Kandy around 5 a.m this morning(17). Police officers attached to the Crimes Investigations Division in Kandy Police Headquarters were in the Police cab at the time of the accident.
The incident occurred after the driver of the SLTB Bus fallen a sleep while driving it has been revealed.
Police have arrested the bus driver regarding the incident.
