A person was severely injured and hospitalized and several others reported as trapped after a sand mount of a Construction Site in Mawanella area collapsed on them this morning(23).The injured was admitted to the Mawanella Hospital.
Police and the residents of the area are currently engaging in a rescue operation by using backo machines to save the lives of those trapped inside the debris of the site it has been reported.
