A 65 year old person was killed after a carbide tank located in a workplace in koorikotuwa ,Veyangoda exploded this morning(23).The critically injured person had succumbed to his injuries on admission to the Wathupitwala Hospital.
The injured had been identified as a resident of Kuriykotuwa area.
Veyangoda Police are carrying out an investigation on the incident.
