Around Sixty Houses Reported As Buried After A Section Of Meethotamulle Garbage Dump Collapsed

Around sixty houses were buried after a
section of the Meethotamulle  (Colombo)Garbage Dump had collapsed on them today (14) it has been reported.

The residents  lives near the Garbage Dump protested against dumping garbage  in Colombo there over the past few years .

Meanwhile president Maithripala Sirisena had instructed the Disaster Management Center and tri forces to take every possible measure to help those affected due to the Garbage Dump collapse in Meethotamulle.
