Ministry Of Health had decided to conduct an island wide National Dengue Control Week from 29th of March to 04th of April this year .There is a rise of Dengue Patients reported from Colombo,Gampaha,Kaluthara,Galle,Jaffna,Trincomalee and Ratnapura Districts according to the Ministry.During first two months of this year (January to February) around 16,479 Dengue Patients had been reported from the Island and there were 24 Dengue Deaths Health Ministry has stated.
A special discussion is due to be held among the Ministries of Health,Fisheries and Provincial Council during next week to examine the facts that caused for the spreading of Dengue.
