Imprisoned Joint opposition MP and the leader of the National Freedom Front
wimal weerawansha has launched a fastimg campaign in welikada remand prison against refusing his revised bail application by the Colombo high court yesterday (21).
The MP refuse to take his breakfast and lunch due to the fasting it has been reported.
MP Weerawansha was arrested by the police financial crimes investigations division (FCID) on 10 th of January over misusing of state owned vehicles during the previous regime .He was further remanded until 03 rd of April by the Colombo high court after been produced before the court yesterday .
