During the Vehicle collision a Car and a Three Wheeler behind the SLTB Bus and the Container Truck also crashed into the wreckage it has been revealed.
The Container Truck driver who fallen a sleep and a 60 year of female passenger in the Bus were killed due to the accident on admission to the the hospital.
Thirteen females including a Buddhist Nun are among the injured who were admitted to the Wathupitiwala Hospital after the accident.
The vehicle collision which occurred at Bataleeya near Pasyala Junction on Colombo-Kandy main road had caused a severe traffic congestion this morning which lasted several hours it has been reported.
