The Special Police Task Force personal attached to the Illicit Liquor Raid Unit of Finance Ministry had arrested a person with 108 bottles of illegally imported Liquor Bottles in his possession at Jawatte Road in Narahenpita(Colombo) today(23).The suspect was arrested while transporting the stock of Foreign Liquor Bottles through a Motor Car it has been reported.
The value of the stock of Liquor Bottles arrested is estimated as Rs.1 million .The suspect was handed over to the Excise Department for further investigations on the incident.
