Officers attached to Department Of Excise have arrested two persons with 1.1 Kilo Grammes of Cocaine in their possession near Thalduwa Bridge in Awissawella(Colombo) this morning.The two persons were arrested while they attempted to sell the stock of Cocaine to a Excise Department Official for Rs.8 million it has been reported.
The worth of the Stock of Cocaine taken into custody is estimated as around Rs.10 million.
The suspects who are residents in Dikoya and Hatton areas are due to be produced before the Awissawella Magistrate Court.
