Road Development Authority has decided to change the yellow color of pedestal crossings in the country to white with effect from 03rd of December.According to the chairman of Road Development Authority Nihal Suriyaarachchi this decision has been taken to keep yellow colored pedestal crossing to an international standard.
Changing color of pedestal crossings will begin from western province on 03rd of December and it will expand to other provinces afterwards the Chairman has stated.The color changing of pedestal crossings in the country is due to be concluded within one year he has stressed.
