The Electricity Tariffs will not be increased under any circumstance the Ministry Of Power and Energy has announced today(04).Although the cost of Generating Electricity is forecast ed to increase between October 2016 to March 2017 under special circumstances like severe dry weather condition the Ceylon Electricity Board has suggested a 5% tariff increase as a solution to the increase of Electricity cost.
