The Colombo Chief Magistrate Gihan Pilapitiya has today (03) given a permission to former Defense Secretary Gotabaya Rajapakshe to leave for China to attend a Defense Seminar as per a request made by him.After taking into consideration the application filed by Former Defense Secretary Rajapakshe at the court by requesting permission to leave for China the Colombo Chief Magistrate has announced his decision today.
Earlier the Colombo Chief Magistrate Court had directed the Department of Immigration and Emigration to temporarily suspend the passport of former Defense Secretary over the floating armory issue.
