A motor car caught fire and severely damaged after crashed into the security fence of the Southern Expressway near 42nd mile post between welipanna and Dodanduwa this morning.
The Motor Car was on the way to Colombo from Galle when the accident occurred and the persons travelling in the car had escaped without any injuries it has been reported.
Welipanna Police are conducting an investigation on the accident.
