Security Forces In North Agreed To Release 700 Acres Of Land For Resettling Of In Displaced Persons

Security Forces in Northern Province have agreed to release 700 acres of land at Northern Walikamam in Jaffna-Palali high security zone to resettle the in displaced persons the Jaffna District Secretary has stated.

Accordingly lands in Kankasanthurai.Mawiddapuram and Kirimalai areas are due to release for the resettlement process of in displaced persons it has been revealed.

Earlier authorities have requested the security forces to release 500 acres of land for the resettlement process.
