The Hatton-Dikoya Base Hospital which is due to be developed by the courtesy of Indian Government will be inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Singh Modi on May Next year(2017) the day after Vesak Full Moon Poya Day the Indian Health Minister J.P Nadda has informed the Sri Lanka's Health Minister Dr.Rajitha Senaratne yesterday(06).
According to the Indian Health Minister J.P Nadda,The Indian Prime Minister is due to visit Sri Lanka next May to participate the inauguration ceremony of the Hatton-Dikoya Hospital.Indian Health Minister has revealed this after he along with an Indian Delegation including Indian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka V.K Sinha met with Sri Lanka's Health Minister during the on going WHO's South East Asia Regional Health Ministers Summit at the Galle Face Hotel.
During the discussions held with Sri Lanka's Health Minister, Indian Health Minister has requested the Sri Lankan government's assistance to develop human resources in Hatton-Dikoya Hospital which the Dr.Senaratne agreed.
