The Colombo High Court has today(19) indicted the former Deputy Inspector General Of Police(DIG) Vaas Gunawardena who is in remand and seven other persons over an assault on a student in 2009.The former DIG Gunawardena has been accused on abduction and assault of a student at Sri Lanka Institute Of Information Technology(SLIIT) in Colombo in 2009 .
