The Army Intelligence Officer who was arrested in connection with the assassination of former Editor of "Sunday Leader" Newspaper Lasantha Wikramathunge has been further remanded until 13th of October by the Mount Lavinia Magistrate Court today(29).The suspect has been further remanded after being produced before the Mount Lavinia Magistrate Court this morning.
The Army Intelligence Officer had been arrested and remanded over the abduction,unlawful detention and questioning of the driver of assassinated Editor Lasantha Wikramathunge.
