The United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki Moon is due to arrive in Sri Lanka on 31st of August for a three day official visit the United Nations Organization has announced today(26).
The UN Secretary General is due to meet President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe during his visit to Sri Lanka.He is due to deliver a keynote speech in Colombo on the United Nations Global Development Goals it has been reported.
The secretary general is due to visit a resettlement center established for displaced persons in Northern Province and will participate a conference at Galle on youth and reconciliation.
Before visiting Sri Lanka UN Secretary General is due to visit Myanmar on Tuesday.
