The Colombo Fort Magistrate has today(26) issued a notice on the grand mother of yoshitha rajspakshe (Former president mahinda rajapakshe's second son) Daisy Forest to appear before the court on 31st of August to give a statement regarding a property in mount lavinia in connection with an ongoing investigation .The court has issued the notice as per the request made by police crimes financial investigations division (FCID) as the grand mother of yoshitha avoid giving a statement regarding the property case which is under investigation under the prevention of money laundering act.
The FCID had requested the court to issue a notice on yoshitha's grand mother as she was continuously avoided giving a statement regarding the property case.
