Twelve persons were injured, one critically and hospitalized this noon following a Bus-Van collision occurred on Hatton-Colombo main road at Ginigathhena,Kadawala Area according to the Police.The injured were admitted to the Ginigathhena Hospital and the one who is in critical condition had been transferred to Nawalapitiya Base Hospital for further treatment.
The accident has occurred when the Ceylon Transport Board (CTB) Bus travelling from Hatton to Colombo had collided with a van arrived in from the opposite direction.
Police gave detained the Bus Driver regarding the accident and he is due to be produced before Hatton Magistrate Court.
