Director General Of Health Services Has Instructed The Kalubowila Hospital Director To Conduct An Investigation On Sexually Abusing A Girl By A Government Hospital Doctor

Director General Of Health Services Dr.Palitha Mahipala has yesterday (27) instructed the Director of Kalubowila (Southern Colombo)Teaching Hospital Dr.Asela Gunawardena to conduct a proper investigation on the incident regarding sexually abusing a young girl who came to the Kalubowila Teaching Hospital for a medical examination by a doctor of the same hospital.

The girl had been sexually abused by the doctor at Judicial Medical Officers(JMO) Office of the Kalubowila Hospital it has been reported,
