Three persons were killed and one person critically injured as a result of two separate road accidents occurred on Katunayake and Southern Express Highways last evening and this morning .Accordingly two persons were killed and another injured as the car they were traveling in crashed into a lamp post at near the interchange of Katunayake Express Highway at Ja Ela and the critically injured person a 19 year old boy was admitted to the Colombo National Hospital it has been reported.
In another incident a 25 year old was killed at Akmmemana in Southern Express Highway last evening as a result of a Car-Cab collision.The body of the deceased had been sent to Karapitiya Teaching Hospital for an autopsy.
