A six year old girl had drowned at Kala Oya(Anuradhapura District) this morning near Galganuwa area while bathing there it has been reported.The girl was on her way home after went to Anuradhapura for picnic with her family members when this tragedy occurred it has been reported.The deceased girl who is a resident of Thihariya In Kalagedihena area was rescued.but succumbed to her injuries on the admission to Thambuththegama Base Hospital according to reports.
The remains of the girl is there at the Hospital pending s post mortem.
