Three Metric Tonnes Of Fish Stored In A Cold Storage Of Fisheries Corporation For Around Eight Years Have Been Recovered

The officials of the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources have detected  three metric tonnes of fish imported from a foreign country and stored in a cold storage belonging to Ceylon Fisheries Corporation for around eight years.

The Minister of fisheries and aquatic resources Mahinda Amaraweera has instructed the additional secretary of the Ministry S.Balasubramanium who is also the acting director of fisheries corporation to probe on the fish stock and find the individuals who are responsible for not issuing the fish stock to the market.
