The Sri Lankan Air Lines flight UL-554 flying from Frankfurt-Germany to Colombo had been delayed to take off for around 15 hours yesterday (19)due to the absence of one of it's crew member according to Sri Lankan Air Lines.The absent crew member had not reported to the duty due to an illness it has been revealed.
Due to the delay of the flight all passengers have been provided with meals and accommodation and they will also be compensated as per the European Union's regulations the Air Lines has stated.
The Sri Lankan Air Lines authorities have apologized from the passengers for the flight's delay
