Special Commodity Levy Imposed On Imported Potatoes Has Been Increased

The Special Commodity Levy imposed on imported  potatoes has been increased by Rs.5 with effect from today(25) according to the Ministry Of Finance.

Accordingly the levy has been increased from Rs.35 to Rs.40 the Ministry has stated.This step has been taken to offer a standard price for the potato production of local potato farmers  the Ministry has further added.
