A restaurant owner at pilimathalawa in Peradeniya (Central Province) had been shot and killed by an unidentified gunmen today at the restaurant owned by him according to the police.The deceased was rushed to the Peradeniya teaching hospital in critical condition ,but succumbed to his injuries on admission to the hospital.
Peradeniya police have stated that two gunmen arrived on a motor bicycle had shot the restaurant owner and fled away from the scene.
Peradeniya Police are conducting an investigations on the incident.
