A 61 year old Russian had drowned to death while sea bathing off the Koggala Sea at Habaraduwa(In Southern Province) area according to the sources.The life saving guards have managed to rescue the drowning Russian and he was later declared as dead upon admission to Karapitiya Teaching Hospital the sources have stated.
The body of the deceased is snow lying at the Karapitiya Hospital for post mortem.
Habaraduwa Police are conducting an investigation on the incident.
