The Joint Opposition group in the parliament which backs former president Mahinda Rajapakshe had today(07) appointed a shadow cabinet .Accordingly former president Rajapakshe was given the Prime Minister's Post as well as the ministerial portfolio of defense and buddha sasana .
The "pivithuru hela urumaya "party leader MP Udaya Gammanpila has been appointed as Minister of Law and Order,MP Dallas Alahapperuma appointed as Minister of Education ,MP Namal Rajapakshe has been appointed as Minister of Foreign Affairs and MP Bandula Gunawardena appointed as Minister Of Finance in the Joint Opposition Group's shadow cabinet.
