The Government has today(14) announced control prices for 16 essential food items .The Gazette Notification regarding the control prices imposed on essential food items is due to be issued tomorrow(15).The consumer affairs authority will raid and take legal action against those trade stalls which sold these food items for higher prices the Ministry Of Industries and Commerce has stated.
The list of 16 essential food items and their control prices are as follows.
