Sri Lankan Rupee further strengthened today(29) as foreign investors reported as sold dollars to buy local bonds and some exporters and banks also supported the sentiment according to reports.Currency Dealers too confirmed that foreign investors are begin to sell dollars to buy local bonds.
Accordingly one week Dollar/Rupee forwards were at 147.50/60 Dollars today when compared to Tuesday's close of 147.80/148.00.
