Sri Lanka Navy Personal have last Thursday(02)detained six local fishermen along with Dinghy Boat they were in and illegal fishing equipment while engaging in illegal fishing at Eastern Lagoon area of Serunuwara according to the Navy.The Navy Personal have taken into custody a Dinghy Boat,Diving Mask,a pair of Diving Fins and other fishing equipment along with fishermen it has been reported.The detained fishermen and equipment were handed over to the Serunuwara Police for future course of action.
