A male teacher along with the Principal,Vice Principal and two female teachers attached to a school in Kodikamam ,Jaffna were detained and produced before Chavakachcheri(In Jaffna) Magistrate Court yesterday(20) over a molesting of a 11 year School Girl multiple in multiple occassions by a Science Teacher of the School.The School Girl who had faced sexual harassment from 46 year old Science Teacher of the School had informed it to her friends and they have informed it to the School's Vice Principal and two female teachers of the School but they have covered the incident without taking an action against the accused teacher it has been revealed.
Afterwards the School Girl had informed her parents regarding the molesting incidents and although the parents confronted with school principal over the incident principal has not taken any action against the accused.As principal not taken any action against the accused teacher ,girl's parents were lodged a complaint on the incident at Child Protection Authority and accordingly the Police have detained the accused Teacher along with school principal,vice principal and two female teachers for covering the incident.
After considering the facts against them the Chavakachehcri Magistrate Court has remanded them until 01st of July.
